What was the highlight of Margaritas Palace Hotel
Good
It is all about the LOCATION which gives you a spectacular view. However, you must opt for the top floor in order to enjoy the experience. It's close to the beach and just outside is a fabulous restaurant. And, very clean and hygienic. They also make a very good breakfast.
The room has a table and chairs but it needs a comfortable armchair or sofa. And there no seats on the balcony to enjoy the view.

What was the highlight of Margaritas Palace Hotel
elegant but sparse
For some reason, they didn't have our reservation, but the front desk clerk put the owner on the phone with me, and he spoke perfect English and explained that there was some glitch, but not to worry, they had our rooms and were even upgrading one of our rooms. Sure enough, our room was large enough for two full beds and a small table with four chairs, in case we were dining in or playing board games. The view was excellent, we were directly across from the beach.
The room was lacking in many ways. There were a few shelves but otherwise nothing to put our things on. No folding luggage racks, no dresser, no rod to hang anything on. There was plenty of room for all that, and a refrigerator, which would have been nice. Also, there was a bedside table between the beds, but no lamp.

Really liked our stay.
Breakfast was excellent. The view was terrific. Jonathan was an excellent host.
No armchairs in the room. We need something comfortable to sit on and relax.

What was the highlight of Margaritas Palace Hotel
Wonderful
The view and location are what make this hotel great. Only 100 yards from the ocean and with a 2nd floor room that has a balcony and lots of windows, you will be hard pressed to find another for this value. Really comfortable bed, a good hot shower, cable TV (Spanish), and a very good breakfast is included.
The first floor balcony is too close to the street and lacks privacy. The upper floors are much better. Also, the room could use a sofa or couch.
